Thames Students Remember Their Roots

CK Roots

A long-standing tradition was celebrated at St. Clair's Thames Campus in Chatham recently, when a representative group of college grads planted a tree on the school's grounds.

This municipal government program is entitled "Your Roots Are Always In Chatham-Kent", and encourages young people to remember their home-town as they move out into the world.

It is sponsored by the local government's Community Attraction and Leisure Services, the Youth Engagement Agency, CK Public Health, the Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority Foundation, and the TD Canada Friends of the Environment Foundation.
